The brief

To create a landmark international conference centre named after Archbishop John K. Amissah, celebrating his contributions to the Church, education, and ecumenism. The centre should serve as a multifunctional space for large-scale religious, academic, and civic events, enhancing the profile of the Catholic Seminary in Sowutuom as a centre of excellence in theology and leadership.

Scope of Work

Design and deliver the Archbishop John K. Amissah International Conference Centre within the Catholic Seminary campus in Sowutuom. The project includes a 5,000-seat main auditorium, breakout rooms, boardrooms, exhibition spaces, and multipurpose halls. The design integrates Catholic identity with Ghanaian cultural elements, ensures sustainability and energy efficiency, and provides state-of-the-art facilities for international conferences, liturgical events, and civic gatherings.
